May 27th (Thursday) Coffee with the Mayor : The effect optimism can have on Daphne, with Ben Spencer, Daphne Optimist Club.  City Hall, 8:30 a.m.

June 1st (Tuesday)  Vote!!

July 20th (Tuesday) Public Meeting regarding the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill.   There will be representatives from BP, US Coast Guard, AL Department of Public Health, and Baldwin County EMA.  at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

July 26th (Monday) The Downtown Redevelopment Authority will be meeting next Monday at 5:15 in the Daphne Council Workroom. 

July 29th (Tuesday) Coffee with the Mayor : Meet our new Baldwin County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Alan Lee. City Hall, 8:30 a.m.

July 29th (Tuesday) Special Meeting of the City of Daphne Planning Commission for review of proposed amendments to the City of Daphne Land Use and Development Ordinance. Council Chambers at City Hall, 5:00 p.m.  An agenda will be posted at the City of Daphne and Public Library and City Hall for reference.Additional information available at the City of Daphne Community Development Department 621-3184.

August 4th (Wednesday) Harriet Outlaw to speak at the Daphne Public Library Local History Forum in the Library Community Room at 10:00 am. August 9th (Monday): Discuss: Revisions to Land Use Ordinance, Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce,

The Last Saturday of the Month:  Pet Adoptions can be at the Daphne Animal shelter from 8:00 to noon.

OTDA Board meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Library.  No meetings in July. Meetings are open to members and the public. The next Board meeting will be held on August 10th in the Daphne Library.

Daphne City Council Meetings are held the first and third Mondays of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.  Work Sessions are scheduled as needed for the Thursday between the monthly Council meetings. A copy of the Council agenda is available at the Library. The Council agenda, Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Ordinance is posted on the City website at www.daphneal.com. Click on legislative news.  Official Council minutes must be viewed in the City Clerk's office.  Copies of the 2009 City of Daphne Budget and the Comprehensive plan from 2000 to 2020 are available in the Daphne Library.
