International Baccalaureate (IB) Update:

A survey of interest and awareness of high school teachers and administrators throughout the county was conducted in December and the results have been compiled and sent to the Board Members along with information on improving Advanced Placement (AP) programs.  The survey will be discussed at the work session, on Tuesday January 17th at 5:00 p.m. in Loxley at the Central Office Satellite Office.  SEEDS encourages anyone interested in IB or AP to attend this meeting. SEEDS has been advised not to anticipate a vote until February and that it will not be on which school, but whether to have IB or not. The City of Foley has indicated they want to be considered as well.  A good showing of Daphne supporters will continue to reinforce our interest in the program.
