The Olde Towne Daphne Association presents an annual Community Spirit Award in recognition of contributions to our community.  On December 4th, during the City Council meeting at 6:30 p.m., our 2006 award was presented to:

2005  All the residents of Daphne for their unselfish efforts to provide relief for Hurricane Katrina victims

2004  The employees of the City of Daphne for their tireless efforts to help our community recover from Hurricane Ivan

2003  The City of Daphne for purchasing the last parcel of land to complete the Village Point Park Preserve

2002  The Daphne Redevelopment Authority for their work to create and enhance the Olde Towne Daphne District

2001  The Towne Centre for their initiative and foresight to enhance and preserve the character of Olde Towne

2000  Trust Bank for their extensive landscaping and preservation of trees after new construction
